On the Dangers of Reading Fiction

In Thomas Jefferson's letter, On the Dangers of Reading Fiction, he informs the readers on what will happen if one reads too much fiction. Jefferson believes that fiction is a waste of time. Jefferson feels that fiction clouds reader's ability of judgement. He claims that fiction prevents people from preforming normal logical tasks like business transactions. I believe that Jefferson saw the world today, he'd might consider taking his life due to the amount of material inspired from fiction.
